My revolution began as a felt sense in my body. A hot vibration in my lower belly that just knew intuitively. My revolution began with my deep feeling. My commitment to feeling it all as I come from -as many of us do- a lineage that was numbed. As I committed to this, there was a bigger truth that I started to feel in my body as sensation and somatic knowing. It was this impulse to create something new and beyond myself, to move towards expansion, to move towards more love. It had no logic. It was chaotic. And in this chaos, I could not help but surrender. This is the erotic at play.

This is life force acknowledged.

This is why the erotic is a revolution. It is a fundamental shift in our power and organizational structure. As you let the erotic move you, you are allowing the heart to be opened, be felt, and allowing the force of life to move in and penetrate you. You are now operating as nature itself and letting  the divine processes of death rebirth happen through you. 

I  have always felt this in my body and spirit from a very young age, but I was made to distrust and vilify this knowing. I was born and raised in Saudi Arabia, this was a deep gift as I was raised to hold my heart and devotion at the forefront of all I did. My work is now to connect our heart’s devotion to our primal erotic force. 

For the last 8 years I have been in deep study of what it means to be erotically alive. I have trained in Tantra, Somatics, Transpersonal Psychology and the way of the mystics to surrender to this feminine force. I am trauma informed and in deep reverence to how personal each of your journey’s are. Beyond my studies, I have lived what it means to let the erotic lead you. Through my art and performance, I have followed my truth and let the undeniable pulse of that which moves towards more life, move me. 

As we do this, we radiate our truest essence as nature does. This is why nature is so magnificent. And you are nature, haboob.
